It’s called growing up and realizing that you need to create your own social paradigm that you feel comfortable with. You will still feel this, I do every day I am on tumblr for starters, but you will get over it and stuff like this will impact you less.
- Friend: Hey man so I heard you like anime.
- Me: I'd rather not get into that.
- Friend: Wait, why?
- Me: I want to keep this friendship.
This is exactly how I imagine the relationship between myself and my followers.
That is the exact expression my Dad had when looking into my closet this weekend.
